Great Scarifies of the Mother for her Child

Mother undoubtedly is the most sacred person to everyone. Her love and sacrifice know no bounds. She carries the child for ten months in her womb, goes through excruciating pain and discomfort while giving life to the child, nurses, feeds, teaches, imparts values, knowledge and everything good to her loving child. Mother does everything for the child; nothing is left out, with least expectations of goodness. She is the most vociferous advocate in favour, when the whole world goes against, her love, compassion, overflowing goodness and kindness have no parallels in history. Mother is God Incarnate in every sense of the term.

Taking care of mother at old age is our sacred duty, no one should ignore. Mother is so precious, words cannot describe her. I bow to my mother and all mothers of my family and my world.

Mother is above everything in the world. Running after the material world, many of us forget to take care of our beloved parents. Irrespective of busy schedule/ status/ money, kindly spare some time for them, love them, be with them, please take care of them, as we realise the value of their pure love once they are not with us. Please do not forget their sacrifice to make what we are today and please do not ignore them, especially in their old age. Love, love and love our parents as they are the living Gods.

Let us all love, respect and take every care of our mother, let every word convey our feelings.

How to Be an Inspiration to Others

Sachin Tendulkar has inspired thousands of young boys to take up cricket.  Lata Mangeshkar has inspired many to become professional singers. There are a million such examples of people who have been an inspiration to others. How does one get there? How can you inspire people? How can you become someone that people look up to?

Do what You love

Had Sachin become an accountant, would he have been so successful? Would he have become the sweetheart of the nation that he is today? Perhaps not. So start by doing what you love to do and are good at. At the same time, don’t think about money or fame. Just quietly go about doing your job and success will follow.

Success breeds Inspiration

Look at the Tatas and Birlas. I am sure they didn’t get into business saying one day we will inspire people. Inspiration happened on the way. Their success is one of the reasons why people look up to them.

It’s not only Success

But it’s not only success, it’s their personality- them as people that inspires us too. There are thousands of people who have become successful using unscrupulous means. We don’t get inspired by them. Even your father or a friend could be an inspiration. Not because they are rich and successful, but maybe because they never lie, or are hardworking or are always there for you.

It doesn’t Need to be Big

You don’t necessarily need to climb Everest to be inspiring. It could be really simple things. Like learning to read and write at the age of 80, finishing a novel you’ve been working on for years, quitting your job to open a restaurant, taking care of your ill mother. Any activity that is done with all your heart will be an inspiration to others.

Putting Others before You

Mother Teresa was a saint, not because she always dressed in white and smiled at everyone, but because she sacrificed everything for others. She always put others before her. Give up the larger chunk of apple pie to your sibling, let your friend go to Disneyland instead of you because he can’t afford or, on your birthday, instead of spending thousands of rupees on a party and getting drunk, go to an orphanage and play with the children there. The day you start giving up what you love for others, that’s the day people will start looking up to you and will get inspired. But this doesn’t mean you pretend to give just to be admired. You really should want to do it.

Humbleness

Even after being so immensely successful, Sachin and Lata are both incredibly humble human beings. There’s not an iota of pride in their voice when they speak in public. That’s one of the most important traits one needs to inspire others. The more successful you become, the richer you get, more humble you should be.

Start giving, and serving others selflessly and sooner or later, people will start admiring you for the person that you are.

Future in Tablets Technology

A Waterproof tablet PC from Fujitsu is seen lowered into a fish tank at the world's biggest high-tech fair, the CeBIT, on March 6, 2012 in Hanover, central Germany.

Let's look at where the trends point out for upcoming generations of tablet computers.

Transparent Displays :

Transparent glass displays are a staple of technology concept videos and while there has been immense innovation in display technology and devices, not much has translated to mobile devices yet. The next generation of tablets will most certainly move in this direction. Also, the tablets should allow extending the display to a television or another computer or project on a screen in an intuitive manner.

Diverse Form-Factor :
Foldable panels that fit one's pocket and display panels that can be extended to one's preference - the next generation of tablets would not be hard-lined on form factor and dimensions. A tablet, like a phone, is an intimate device and hence needs to be attached like a sensory organ.

File Storage :

As Internet and mobile data continues to grow ubiquitous and online services grow in number and capabilities, your data and preferences live on the cloud. The local storage becomes irrelevant, only sufficing the intermediary needs. Also, this would allow seamless migration from one device to another irrespective of device segment or operating system.

Interface :

While pointing via a mouse is old world, the touch would be the next casualty. Humans don't touch to interact in most cases. We speak or move our hands to explain things. Several devices of the current generation - game consoles, smartphones et al - employ bits and pieces of gesture and voice recognition and the next generations of tablet would have these baked in exhaustively with comprehensive knowledge of local cultures and languages.

Location-Awareness :

One of the biggest leaps that smartphones and tablets allowed was making the phone and apps location-aware using the GPS. This allows the information to be better served and locally relevant. Several services like Foursquare have built successful engagement on top of this, and it is anybody's guess that future evolutions would also bring context to the awareness.
Wireless Charging :

I've wished for this one every time I've snapped my laptop's charger and taken a fall through the cable. While wireless Internet and near-field communication are moving progressively, the future tablets would also cut this last cord.

Capabilities :

Snap your boarding pass, and your tablet would give you your flight details. Or place a phone or another tablet next to it, and data transfer would happen. Advances in near-field communication, image recognition, and augmented reality would give future computing devices immense power to enable seamless communication and enhance productivity in a natural manner.

Other Concept in Tablet :

Better battery backup, tougher casing and resistant to a fall or a dip in the water, and an overall holistic ease of managing the hardware.

8 Easy Ways to make Money on Internet

As long as you have the inclination, a little bit of expertise and some free time, you can earn some money on the internet from the comfort of your own home.

Here are some popular ways to make that quick extra buck.

1. Self Publish Books :  If you love writing and want to get a book published, Amazon offers a free service called Kindle Direct Publishing. The service allows anyone to self publish books on the Kindle (electronic) bookstore and earn royalties from sales.

There are two plans you can choose from — the 35% royalty works across any book sold in any country) while the 70% royalty plans works if you sell in a few select countries. Indian authors can choose to set prices specifically for the Indian bookstore and receive royalty payments in Indian currency as well.

2. Make and Sell your Applications :  With so many smartphones and tablets, app development can be a very lucrative business. You can learn about developing apps online — there are various tutorials available for free. That's the easy part — the hard part is coming up with an idea that 'clicks'.

Once you make an app, submit it to the respective app store, set a price and choose whether you want to earn from inapp advertising. Your earnings, after deducting the appropriate fees, will be paid monthly.

3. Sell old House Stuff Online : An easy way to earn some money on the internet is by selling old stuff that you have around the house. Websites like olx.in, quickr.com and http://craigslist.co.in provide a free classifieds platform.

You need to create an account, enter the product details, location, the expected price along with some photographs — listing usually go live within a couple of hours. Interested buyers can directly contact you and finalize the sale.

4. Start an Online Shop : With some creativity, you can learn to make handicrafts or if you know a wholesale dealer, purchase unique things at low prices. Once you have some stock ready, you can set up an online shop to sell these goods on sites like ebay.in or indiebazaar.com

Both sites have a simple signup process. After you get verified as a seller, they provide you with a step-by-step wizard to set your online store (how to add photos and details of items you want to sell).

5. Work Online for Money : The internet is full of bogus companies that promise to pay you for work but never will. For instance, all places that offer money to fill surveys or those that require payment up front are scammers.

Two popular and reliable places to find work are odesk.com and elance.com. Both have a similar system: set up a profile and take tests to prove your proficiency in certain areas.

Once done, you'll be listed as a contractor/ freelancer and people can hire you for an hourly rate. You can get paid more by working hard, getting better at what you do and getting good feedback (ratings) from your clients.

6. Sell your Photos Online : Numerous stock websites like shutterstock.com, shutterpoint.com and istockphoto.com host photographs submitted by members. Depending on the site's policy, you can earn between a 15 to 85% royalty on each sale.

The better the quality of photos and the larger your online portfolio, the more you will sell. Usually, each photograph you want to upload will have to be 'selected' by them first — and they usually have strict requirements of what can or cannot go on sale.

7. E-Tutoring : If you are fluent in any subject and have some tutoring experience, you can sign up on websites like 2tion.netor, tutorvista.com as an online tutor. The sites require you to create a tutor profile with details such as the subjects in which you are fluent, what classes/courses you want to teach, your experience level, preferred timings for tuitions and the remuneration expected.

After verification, the site lists your profile on their portal where interested students can connect with you for tuitions. You can opt for virtual workspaces with built in teaching aids like live chat and collaborative whiteboards. Once you get better at tutoring, you can increase your monthly earnings by teaching multiple students simultaneously.

8. Earn from Advertising : A reliable way to earn money is from Google AdSense on your blog/website or ads on your YouTube channel. To get started, create a Google AdSense account at google.com/adsense

You can use the same account with your blog, website or YouTube channel. To maximize earnings from your blog or website, your objective needs to be to get the maximum number of visitors possible.

Write about what you know and what you're passionate about. On YouTube, make sure that your videos are original and interesting. Promote your channel to get more views. Apart from views, your objective should also be to get more people to like/ favourite your video and to subscribe to your channel.

The build up will be slow and Google only makes payments once your balance crosses $100, so don't get disheartened. Persistent efforts pay off in the long run.

The Bull who Cried

Knowing it was about to be slaughtered, a bull in Hong Kong did what many people fail to realize or are skeptic about when it comes to animals - he showed emotion.

As reported by "Weekly World News", a group of workers walked a bull to a packaging factory. They were about to slaughter him to make steaks and beef stews. When they were close to the front door of the slaughter house, the sorrowful bull suddenly stopped going forward and knelt down on his two front legs. The bull... was all in tears.

How did he know he was going to get killed before he entered the slaughter house? He is even smarter than people.

Mr. Shiu, a butcher recalled, "When I saw this kind of so-called "stupid" animal sobbing and with his eyes in fear and sorrow, I started trembling." "I called the rest over to see. They were just as surprised. We kept pushing the bull forward, but he just didn't want to move and sat there crying."

Billy Fong, owner of the packaging factory said, "People thought animals didn't cry like human beings. However that bull really sobbed like a baby." At that time, more than ten strong men witnessed the scene and they were all touched. Those who were responsible for slaughtering even felt more touched and teared as well.

Other workers working at the same slaughter house also came to see the crying bull. It was all packed with people. They were all shock by this scene. Three of them said they would never forget this crying bull when they slaughter other animals.

With both man and animal crying, everyone knew that nobody could kill the bull. The problem was, what should they do with him? In the end, they raised funds to buy this crying bull and sent him to a temple, where the kind monks would take care of him for life.

After the workers had made a decision, a miracle happened. A worker said, "When we promised this bull that we will not kill him, he started moving and followed us."

How did he understand people's words?

Mr. Shiu said "Believe it or not? This is real although it sounds unbelievable." No doubt, this bull changed these butchers' lives.

Human Brain Analysis - Man vs Woman

1. Multi-Tasking

Women - Multiple process : Women’s brains designed to concentrate multiple task at a time. Women can Watch a TV and Talk over phone and cook.

Men - Single Process : Men’s brains designed to concentrate only one work at a time. Men can not watch TV and talk over the phone at the same time. they stop the TV while Talking. They can either watch TV or talk over the phone or cook.

2. Language

Women can easily learn many languages. But can not find solutions to problems. Men can not easily learn languages, they can easily solve problems. That's why in average a 3 years old girl has three times higher vocabulary than a 3 years old boy.

3. Analytical Skills :

Men’s brain has a lot of space for handling the analytical process. They can analyze and find the solution for a process and design a map of a building easily. But if a complex map is viewed by women, they can not understand it. Women can not understand the details of a map easily, for them it is just a dump of lines on a paper.

4. Car Driving :

While driving a car, mans analytical spaces are used in his brain. He can drive a car fastly. If he sees an object at long distance, immediately his brain classifies the object (bus or van or car) direction and speed of the object and he drives accordingly. Whereas women take a long time to recognize the object direction/ speed. Mans single process mind stops the audio in the car (if any), then concentrates only on driving.

5. Lying :

When men lie to women face to face, they get caught easily. Woman’s super natural brain observes facial expression 70%, body language 20% and words coming from the mouth 10%. Men’s brain does not have this. Women easily lie to men face to face.

6. Problems Solving :

If a man have a lot of problems, his brain clearly classifies the problems and puts them in individual rooms in the brain and then finds the solution one by one. You can see many guys looking at the sky for a long time. If a woman has a lot of problems, her brain can not classify the problems. She wants some one to hear that. After telling everything to a person she goes happily to bed. She does not worry about the problems being solved or not.

7. What They Want :

Men want status, success, solutions, big process, etc. But women want relationship, friends, family, etc.

8. Unhappiness :

If women are unhappy with their relations, they can not concentrate on their work. If men are unhappy with their work, they can not concentrate on the relations.

9. Speech :

Women use indirect language in speech. But Men use direct language.

10. Handling Emotion :

Women talk a lot without thinking. Men act a lot without thinking.

Samsung planning to build 300 GHz Chips using Graphene

Samsung researchers have developed microprocessor using the Graphene-Silicon Schottky barrier as they can easily control electron flow by increasing or decreasing the height of the barrier.

Samsung also manufactured a basic logic gate device and verified that this logic gate can effectively perform one function. The basic procedure the device can manage is adding.

The transistor-like gate called a Barristor.

Samsung researcher’s institute has owned other 9 major Graphene-related patents and it is only current company who has built a working microprocessor using Graphene.

Graphene is a material that permits electrons to move through it 200 times easier than currently used semiconductor silicon.

If we can create a microprocessor using Graphene than we can build CPU which can run at 300 GHz speeds. So, researchers have achieved half of the normal Graphene electron mobility in making microprocessor.

IBM has predicted theoretical that we can create 1000 GHz microprocessor using Graphene.

Making microprocessor using Graphene is little tough as it is a semi-metal and we can not control electron flow in a semi-metal.

We can use cooling solutions to control electron flow in Graphene because electron can not pass through it. But the higher electron mobility might help dissipate the heat energy faster in a cooling base.

We can produce microprocessor using combination of Silicon and Graphene but it does not produce desirable results.

We can transform Graphene in a semiconductor as it can effectively reduce free electron mobility in this semimetal and this technology has successfully used for Silicene transformation.

PlayStation 4 and Xbox 720 will be Lunched in 2012

Microsoft is actively working on a new home console, planning to show it off at E3, with integrated Kinect, more capabilities for media playback and a full digital distribution solution.

Similarly Sony is thought to be in the initial planning phase for the PlayStation 4, with plans to unveil it later during the year, perhaps at the Tokyo Games Show or Gamescom.

Sony is working on an upgrade for the PlayStation 3, with the Move built in and with support for three-dimensional games included.

Both Microsoft and Sony are playing hide-and-seek with the player base and the observers of the industry about whether they plan to announce or introduce new hardware during this year.

How does It Effect Gaming World

A new generation of gaming hardware means that almost all developers and publishers enter a period of turmoil, learning to work with the new technology that is introduced and with the extra features (think touch screen, motion tracking and other attachments). This is both a threat and an opportunity for the average gamer.

Conversation with God

Me : God, can I ask You a question?

God : Sure

Me : Promise You won't get mad…..

God : I promise

Me : Why did You let so much stuff happen to me today?

God : What do you mean?

Me : Well, I woke up late

God : Yes

Me : My car took forever to start

God : Okay

Me : at lunch they made my sandwich wrong and I had to wait

God  : Hmmmmm

Me : On the way home, my phone went dead, just as I picked up a call

God : All right
Me : And on top of it all off, when I got home ~I just want to soak my feet in my new foot massager and relax. But it would not work!!! Nothing went right today! Why did You do that?

God : Let me see, the death angel was at your bed this morning and I had to send one of my angels to battle him for your life. I let you sleep through that

Me (humbled) : OH

God : I did not let your car start because there was a drunk driver on your route that would have hit you if you were on the road.

Me : (ashamed)

God : The first person who made your sandwich today was sick and I did not want you to catch what they have, I knew you could not afford to miss work.

Me (embarrassed) : Okay

God : Your phone went dead because the person that was calling was going to give false witness about what you said on that call, I did not even let you talk to them so you would be covered.

Me (softly) : I see God

God : Oh and that foot massager, it had a shortage that was going to throw out all of the power in your house tonight. I did not think you wanted to be in the dark.

Me : I'm Sorry God

God : Don't be sorry, just learn to trust Me.... in All things , the Good and the bad.

Me : I will trust You.

God : And don't doubt that My plan for your day is always better than your plan.

Me : I won't God. And let me just tell you God, Thank You for Everything today.

God : You're welcome child. It was just another day being your God and I love looking after my children...

If you have granted any of these rights on an exclusive basis to a distributor, broadcaster or other third party in any territory your entry is not eligible.

If selected as a semi-finalist or alternate, you may be required by to provide copies of these clearances. These sample forms are intended primarily for reference and in most cases are meant to clear the relevant material or contribution for use in all media (rather than just those media required for this competition). Even if you intend to use any of these sample clearance forms, they will probably require customization by you or your professional advisers. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have obtained all necessary clearances and for obtaining your own professional advice on the terms of such clearances.

Question : Am I granting YouTube an exclusive right to my entry?

Answer : Not at all!

Question : Are there any rules for what I can not submit?

Answer : Your entry must be story-driven and abide by the YouTube Terms of Service. It also can not have been publicly exhibited or distributed prior to January 1, 2010. Beyond that, it’s entirely up to you.

Question : My video has already been featured in other film festivals or contests. Can I still enter?

Answer : You bet you can. Again, as long as the video was not publicly played before January 1, 2010, it is eligible for Your Film Festival.

Question : Can I use music?

Answer : Absolutely! But remember, whenever you include someone else’s work (like music) as part of your video, you must possess all of the appropriate rights and licenses. For the purposes of Your Film Festival, this includes online/internet (including internet television), in-flight and film festival rights. Remember, if any music appears in your entry, even if it’s in the background, you must clear it. If you are using any recording, you must also clear that separately. Music clearance can be complex, time-consuming, and expensive (particularly for any pre-existing music and/or recording which you intend to license), so make sure you leave plenty of time to obtain clearances and seek professional advice if you are unsure about how to do so. Again, if selected as a semi-finalist or alternate, you may be required to provide copies of these rights and clearances.

Question : What are the best specifications for uploading my footage to YouTube?

Answer : YouTube accepts most digital video formats. However, for optimal playback, we suggest that you use the compressions.

Question : Does my entry need to be publicly viewable?

Answer : No, not at all. You may upload your entry as either public or unlisted. Unlisted means that only people who know the link to the video can view it, and the video will not appear in any of YouTube's public spaces (such as search results, your channel, or the Browse page).
Your entry is only required to be publicly viewable if it is selected as a semi-finalist.

Question : Will my submission be viewable on the channel after I submit it?

Answer : Only the 50 semi-finalists, as selected by Scott Free and their curation team, will be available for viewing on the Your Film Festival channel. Semi-finalists will be divided evenly across 5 global regions: North America, Central and South America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East, and Asia and Australia. Only the semi-finalist films will be viewable on the competition website.

Question : When will I know if I am selected as a semi-finalist?

Answer : Semi-finalists and alternates will begin to be notified on or about April 16, 2012.

Question : What will my video be judged on?

Answer : For the purposes of determining semi-finalists, entries will be judged on:

•  Storytelling
•  Creativity and Originality
•  Screenplay and Actor(s) Performances
•  Technical Execution : Camera/Sound/Lighting/Editing
•  Overall Impression

Question : How many semi-finalists are there?

Answer : There are intended to be 50 semi-finalists.

Question : Where will the semi-finalist videos be available for viewing?

Answer : The semi-finalist videos will appear on the Your Film Festival channel and on YouTube, on any device or platform in which YouTube is available, including desktop, mobile devices, and internet enabled televisions. They will also appear on Emirates Airlines in-flight entertainment systems (ICE) and at the 2012 Venice Film Festival.

Question : How does voting work?

Answer : Only the 50 semi-finalists, as selected by Your Film Festival Limited and their curation team, will be available for viewing on the Your Film Festival channel. Semi-finalists will be spread across 5 global regions: North America, Central and South America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East, and Asia and Australia. Only the semi-finalist films will be viewable on the competition website.

Question : What happens if I’m selected as a finalist?

Answer : You’ll receive a trip, courtesy of Emirates Airlines, to the 2012 Venice Film Festival where your video will be screened as a part of the opening days of the Festival. You’ll also have a spotlight shined on you as a storyteller, with videos about your inspiration and storytelling journey featured on the Your Film Festival channel. Additionally, Your Film Festival Limited will reserve the right to approach you about a potential development deal for future projects. Finally, you’ll be asked to prepare a concept for what you would do, if awarded the grand prize production.

Question : How does the grand prize selection work?

Answer : A grand prize jury of industry professionals, including Ridley Scott, will judge the 10 finalist films on the following criteria :

•  Storytelling
•  Creativity and Originality
•  Screenplay and Actor(s) Performances
•  Technical Execution: Camera/Sound/Lighting/Editing
•  Overall Impression
•  The quality of their Grand Prize concept
•  The jury will then choose a winner, who will be announced at a Your Film Festival ceremony, streamed live from Venice in September 2012

Question : What happens if I win the grand prize?

Answer : If you are awarded the Grand Prize at Venice, you'll receive a $500,000 USD production grant to work with Ridley Scott's award-winning producers at Scott Free to create a new original work intended for distribution on YouTube. You'll work with Your Film Festival Limited (or its designee) to develop your concept shortly after the 2012 Venice Film Festival, and then you'll be off to write your script.

Intel to Release Ivy Bridge CPUs (Third Generation Core) on 8 April 2012

Intel is planning to release their Ivy Bridge desktop and notebook CPUs between the 1st and the 7th of April 2012. The launch line up will consist of Intel Core i7-3770K, i7-3770, i7-3770S, i7-3770T, i5- 3570K, i5-3550, i5-3550S, i5-3570T, i5-3450 and i5-3450S Processors; low-end dual-core Ivy Bridge CPUs will follow later or be re-badged Sandy Bridge. As with Sandy Bridge, unlocked chips will have 'K' suffix, whereas 'S' and 'T' will represent low-power alternatives. Ivy Bridge is expected to bring lower TDP, 10% improved performance and significantly better  DirectX 11 graphics to the table vs. Sandy Bridge and may provide a strong alternative to AMD's APU platforms.

Ivy Bridge is the code name used for the 22nm die shrink of the current Sandy Bridge chips and features basically the same architecture but with a few minor tweaks and improvements. This includes a new on-die GPU that will come with full DirectX 11 support as well as with 30% more EUs than Sandy Bridge, in order to offer up to 60% faster performance that current Core CPUs according to Intel. In addition, the processor cores have also received some minor tweaks as their AVX performance was slightly increased and Intel has updated the integrated PCI Express controller to the 3.0 standard.

Significant CPU releases also tend to coincide not only with new motherboard platforms - we expect to see Z77, Z75 and H77 at a minimum - but also new hardware. It seems likely that Nvidia will seek to release high performance cards in their new Kepler range on or just before Ivy Bridge's launch in order to take advantage of any spike in demand should it appear. AMD may also round out their range of 28nm GPUs at this time.

Foods for Improving Brain Memory

With the increasing popularity of personal computers, people become more and more dependent on computer and their own brain functions recede such as decreased memory. Some foods in daily life could promote the operation of brain, develop intellectual intelligence, and thus enhancing memory.

Milk : Milk is almost perfect for the brain, because it contains various amino acids required for brain and vitamin B1 which is beneficial to nerve cells. Drinking milk before going to bed is very conducive to sleep, which can relieve memory loss and other issues caused by insomnia.

Eggs : Studies have shown that brain activity and memory function are closely related with acetylcholine content in the brain. The egg yolk is rich in lecithin, and it can produce large amount of acetylcholine after decomposition and rapidly increase acetylcholine content in brain tissue, thereby protecting the brain and improve memory.

Fish : High quality protein and calcium are essential nutrients for the brain, and unsaturated fatty acids contained in freshwater fish could protect blood vessels and promote the development of brain cells.

Peanut : Peanut is rich in lecithin and cephalin, which are important materials to compose brain nerve system and they can improve blood circulation and slow brain function decline.

Garlic : Vitamin B1 is very useful for brain cells, and garlic can enhance that function. Garlic and vitamin B1 can produce garlic amine, whose functions are much stronger than vitamin B1.

Walnut and Sesame Seeds : Both of these two foods contain a lot of unsaturated fatty acids. So it could supply adequate linoleic acid, linolenic acid and other unsaturated fatty acid molecules to brain; it helps to clear the impurities in blood and improve brain function to enhance memory. Among them, the rich vitamins in walnut are very effective in the treatment of neurasthenia, insomnia and memory loss.

There are some tips for improving Memory :

  • People should not rely on computers too much and try to solve problems by themselves.
  • We should do exercise to stimulate the blood circulation of whole body and supply enough blood to brain.
  • We have to do some training to use your brain more frequently and effectively and improve your logic ability.

India is ready for testing First ICBM Missile Agni-V (5000 Km)

India has begun final preparations for the first test of its most-ambitious strategic missile, the 5,000-km Agni-V, which will prove to be a technical as well as logistical challenge. The Agni-V, which will bring the whole of Asia, 70% of Europe and other regions under its strike envelope, will be tested from Wheeler Island off the Orissa coast towards end-March to early-April, defence sources said. The nuclear-capable Agni-V, about 50-tonne in weight and 17.5-m tall, is bound to generate waves. Once the three-stage missile becomes operational by 2014-15 after “four to five repeatable tests”, as promised by DRDO, India will break into the exclusive ICBM (Intercontinental Ballistic Missile) club that counts just US, Russia, China, France and UK as its members. India could have gone for a higher strike range but believes the solid-fuelled Agni-V is “more than adequate’’ to meet current threat perceptions and security concerns. The missile can, after all, even hit the northernmost parts of China. With a canister-launch system to impart higher road mobility, the missile will give the armed forces much greater operational flexibility than the earlier-generation of Agni missiles. “The accuracy levels of Agni-V and the 3,500-km Agni-IV (first tested in November 2011), with their better guidance and navigation systems, are far higher than Agni-I (700-km), Agni-II (2,000-km) and Agni-III (3,000-km),’’ said the source.

Researchers "Grow" New Blood Vessels

Synthetic blood vessels that can be made in advance and stored until surgery could help patients undergoing heart surgery, hemodialysis—cleansing of the blood in cases of kidney failure—and other procedures. Laura Niklason, an anesthesiologist and biomedical engineer at Yale University, and her collaborators have grown blood vessels using human cells and tested them in baboons, showing that they provoke no immune rejection and avoid common complications of synthetic vessels, such as clotting, bursting, or contracting over time. Researchers hope these studies will show that the vessels are safe enough to win permission from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to begin clinical trials.

During bypass surgery, doctors looking to circumvent blocked arteries usually harvest vessels from a patient's leg or arm. But people who suffer from vascular disease or who have had previous procedures may have no suitable vessels left. The other options have complications: grafts from donors are often rejected by the recipient's immune system, artificial plastic vessels have high rates of blood clots and other problems, and vessels grown from a patient's own tissue take more than six months to mature. "Artificial grafts suffer from clotting and obstruction because they are not tissue," says Niklason, especially when plastic is used.

Niklason says she has solved this problem by creating vessels that are derived from living tissue but can be used off-the-shelf and are not rejected by the immune system. Using a technique she developed at MIT in the 1990s, researchers seed tubular scaffolds with smooth muscle cells. The cells secrete collagen and other connective tissue molecules around the scaffolds, forming blood vessels. After the scaffolds break down, the vessels are washed with a detergent that strips away the cells, leaving behind the fibrous tubes of collagen.

Because the tubes contain no living cells, they do not trigger an immune response and have a shelf life of more than a year. The group has previously grown vessels using cells from several different animal species, including canine versions for heart bypass surgeries in dogs.

Now, in a report published in Science Translational Medicine, the researchers have grown vessels using human cells for the first time. They used the vessels to link an artery and a vein in baboons, creating a structure called a fistula to mimic the setup required by hemodialysis patients, who have a needle injected into such a link two or three times a week to get their blood filtered. Also, while previous versions of the vessels required a wait of several weeks while the insides of the vessels were "personalized" with some of the patient's own cells, a process that makes them less likely to clog, these hemodialysis vessels did not need that treatment.

"That means they could potentially be immediately available to the patient," says Shannon Dahl, a biomedical engineer who cofounded a biotechnology company called Humacyte with Niklason and another colleague to help bring the technology to market. Humacyte initially plans to test its technology in hemodialysis patients, though Dahl declined to give a timeline for clinical trials.

Researchers ultimately hope to test the vessels for heart surgeries, but they first want to show that the technology is safe and effective. "I would love to get to coronary bypass at some point, but we have to prove that this is a good, safe therapy in other anatomical locations first," says Niklason. A hemodialysis graft is much more easily replaced than a bypass graft if there are infections or other problems.

The researchers' use of baboons also provides important additional support before they move into human trials, says David Putnam, a chemical engineer at Cornell University who studies biomaterials. The reason is that the dynamics of blood flow in baboons are a good model for what happens in humans, he says. "They are going about this very well, very carefully. They're building a house with very strong bricks," he says. "And the next step is humans."
